I lived in the River City Housing Co-op on Melrose Avenue in Iowa City, five blocks east of Kinnick Stadium. On football game days, we would have people park in our lawn unless we actively shooed them away. I came up with the idea of putting out a sign that said, "Parking $50 Take it or Leave it." We had no one try to park on our yard since then.
